Cast bronze strainer includes a fresh water port and a smooth, low-torque ball valve so you can switch from straining raw water to flushing with fresh water instantly. Can be used for inboard engines or generators. The handle indicates the flow direction and it uses standard Perko strainer repair parts. Top casting removes easily for basket cleaning. Can also be used in an emergency as an engine driven bilge pump. Reversible bulkhead mounting option. Made in USA. NOT TO BE USED IN POTABLE WATER SYSTEMS.
